HBeing able to share his professional career with other stars is a privilege that Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, better known as Kaku, has enjoyed. The Brazilian star shared the field with Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid and Ronaldinho at AC Milan and the Brazilian national team, to name a few.
This gave him an advantage when building his ideal player by leveraging the qualities of his former teammates.
Mr. Kaku assembled his ideal player based on CR7, Ronaldinho, etc.
Kaku started his career with São Paulo FC, but reached his peak with AC Milan, winning the Champions League and the Club World Cup. He also played for Real Madrid CF and finished his career with MLS side Orlando City SC in 2017. With the Brazilian national team, he won the world championship at the 2002 Japan-Korea World Cup at the age of 20.
The Brazilian star, who played for all of these teams, shared a dressing room with great players, which he was not hesitant to highlight in a recent interview.
The Brazilian player took part in an MVPS quiz where he had to choose his ideal player by choosing one of his former teammates based on various characteristics asked about.
shooting? Roberto Carlos. Are your legs weak? I think it’s Rivaldo. Strength? Gattuso. Headline? I think it was Shevchenko. Flare? Ronaldinho. vision? Andrea Pirlo. mental? Cristiano Ronaldo.
This caused a reaction from football fans, many agreed with his choice, but some suggested other candidates and ideas.
“Mental is 100% Zidane,” said one. “Maldini should have been a strength,” another commented. “Cristiano is all in one,” declared a third user.
The truth is, it’s not surprising that CR7 was chosen considering his mentality. He and Kaku shared 21 goals in 99 appearances for Real Madrid, where Kaku also saw him work hard and be dedicated to achieving his best performance.
Another obvious choice was Ronaldinho, with whom he formed one of the most formidable forward duos in the Brazilian national team at the 2006 World Cup and with whom he played one season (2008-09) at AC Milan.
Meanwhile, Kaku’s comments not only reignite the eternal debate between football’s greats, but also highlight the magnitude of the talent he has shared on the field throughout his career.
