Real Madrid and Manchester City will meet again in the Champions League later on Wednesday. It will be the fifth consecutive season that the rivals have been drawn in Europe’s biggest club soccer competition.
The two sides, who faced each other at league stage, will now face each other three times this season by the end of the Round of 16.
City won that match 2-1, but they go into this encounter knowing that they have lost to Madrid in both of the past two seasons.
Madrid are without big names such as Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo as they aim to win 15 times.
Defending champions Paris Saint-Germain were hosting Club World Cup winners Chelsea, while Bodt/Glimt were hosting Sporting Lisbon.
