FC Bayern Munich returned to training with momentum on Tuesday morning, and the chemistry between Michael Olisse and Luis Das quickly came into focus.
Bayern were given two days off after their decisive 3-2 win against Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund. However, the break was short as five games were scheduled in 16 days to close out March.
Training has resumed intensively as Vincent Kompany’s side turn their attention to Friday’s home game against Gladbach and, more importantly, the looming Champions League Round of 16 match against Atalanta BC.

During the session, Orise and Daz stood out. The two attackers exchanged quick passes in tight spaces, executed sharp turns and showed off their individual skills in one-on-one drills. At one point Oliseh delicately lifted the ball over a defender before Daz finished the sequence with a calm attack.
The interplay was met with applause from teammates and the coaching staff, reinforcing the sense that Bayern’s attack was making noise at a pivotal moment of the season. Timing is critical. Bayern remain firmly at the top of the Bundesliga and have built a reputation for resilience this season.
Saturday’s victory in Dortmund underlined that trait. Bayern were behind at half-time, but Joshua Kimmich and his team-mates led a comeback and added three points. With this win, Bayern increased their points total to 18, the highest in Germany’s top flight, despite falling in the standings. The last time the club recorded this many come-from-behind goals was in the 2020-21 season.
Mutual understanding that benefits Bayern
As the calendar gets tighter, depth and consistency become important. Olise and Daz seem to be developing a mutual understanding that could prove decisive both domestically and in Europe. Their off-the-ball movement has improved and their willingness to link up in the final third offers Bayern multiple avenues to break through compact defences.
His progress will be tested in future stretches. After hosting Gladbach, Bayern will turn their focus to Atalanta, one of Serie A’s most organized and disciplined teams. With limited recovery time between games, Kompany will rely heavily on players who can create separation and unleash close games.
Tuesday’s training session may not count towards the standings, but it provided a glimpse of the team finding their rhythm at the right time. If Olise and Daz can translate their bond on the training ground into competitive matches, Bayern’s bid for domestic and European success could gain further momentum.
