Real Sociedad drew 3-3 with bottom-place Real Oviedo at the Estadio Municipal de Anoeta after a rough day.
Oviedo took control of the game after half-time with two quick goals from Federico Vinas with headers in the 50th and 52nd minutes.
Oli Oscarson sparked a comeback for Sociedad with a powerful header in the 64th minute, before Duce Caleta-Cal equalized with a header in the 87th minute.
Oskarsson scored his second goal of the match to give the home team the lead in the 90th minute, but the drama was not over.
Eric Bailly equalized again in the second minute of stoppage time, giving Oviedo a point.
However, there was still time for Gonzalo Guedes to hit the post in the 99th minute.
Fifth-place Real Betis drew 1-1 with Rayo Vallecano and could lose ground in the race for Champions League qualification.
Isi Palazon’s goal in the 42nd minute canceled out Betis’ opener from Cedric Bakambu.
