LPSG, led by Enrique, entered the match as overwhelming favorites to win, but Monaco surprised PSG from the start. It was only in the first minute that the American youngster scored the first goal of the match.
Balogun scored the first goal of the match by appearing alone in the area and simply pushing the ball into the net as his side lost concentration after receiving a cross from Russian player Golovin.

Balogun’s two goals in the Champions League
Taking advantage of the Parisian team being out of place, Monaco started attacking in search of a second goal. The goal came in the 18th minute with another accurate shot from Balogun, who scored his first two goals in the Champions League.
Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembre continued his frustrating season with an apparent injury during the first half of Tuesday’s Champions League play-off against Monaco.
Ducil Du came on as a substitute for Dembre, scored twice and contributed to the next goal, giving PSG a 3-2 lead in next Wednesday’s return match in Paris.
