It’s Super Bowl week, but one of the stars of Sunday’s big game has made no secret of his love for football, revealing which players he follows and respects as he wears the iconic number 10 jersey.
“I’m a big fan of Lionel Messi, Neymar, Mbapp. Who else wears this? Pel. So many greats in football. I mean it’s just a number, but it’s a pretty impressive number,” he said this week ahead of Super Bowl LX.
2026 World Cup favorites
The young quarterback also made bold predictions for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Mexico and Canada. He even revealed that he would like to participate in some matches.
“I can’t believe the World Cup is coming to America. There will be some games to watch. I still remember Messi beating France (2022 World Cup final). It was a great game. What a great sport.”
If his prediction comes true, it would be the first time since Brazil won back-to-back World Cups with Pell in 1958 and 1962.
“Messi is playing for Argentina, so I think Argentina can win the World Cup. Of course I want America to win and we have to support America.”
