Despite his controversial exit, the Argentine remains loved by fans as well as players, with one of the team’s key youth players recently commenting that he would like to see the number 10 return to the club.

Fermin is a huge admirer of Messi and said in an interview with Goal that he would even be willing to give up his position if Leo returned to the club.

Barcelona’s young star has made it clear that he would love to play alongside Messi and is fine with it even if he has to sit on the bench to do so. Fermín may give up his position in order to see Leo return in a Barça shirt. It’s something every fan would pay to see again.

“I think this is my best year so far. I’m confident in all aspects of the game and I’m trying to show my quality on the pitch. I hope I can continue to do well with my shots from outside the box,” explained the 22-year-old.
