But that same week also saw the arrival of one of the biggest revelations of the season: Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little. He’s already made history in his second year in the NFL. Against the Tennessee Titans, Little completed the second-longest field goal in league history, a 67-yard shot that breezed through the uprights, cementing his status as one of the NFL’s best kickers.
Cam Little not only holds that distinction, he holds the top spot. Earlier in the season, he made a 68-yard field goal against the Las Vegas Raiders, surpassing the previous official record of 66 yards set in 2021. As a result, Little currently holds the two longest field goals in NFL history.

Not only because of the successful 67-yard kick, but also because Cam Little’s celebration was dedicated to one of the greatest soccer players of all time, Cristiano Ronaldo. During the celebration, Little gestured and said, “Calm down, calm down,” as the Portuguese star often does when he scores a goal.
After the match, Little was asked if the celebration was inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo, and he admitted it with obvious excitement. “This celebration is really inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo…Ronaldo is one of my favorite soccer players,” the University of Arkansas graduate said.
In fact, Cam Little has an even longer field goal, but it was recorded during the preseason, so it’s not in the record books. Against the Pittsburgh Steelers, he connected on a 70-yard kick that would have been an official record had it occurred during the regular season. There’s no question that he has surpassed Brandon Aubrey as the best kicker in the NFL right now.
Cam Little was selected in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 212th overall, out of the University of Arkansas. With this pick, he became the youngest kicker drafted in the NFL, and now he has made history.
