According to local media reports, a group of about 10 gunmen ambushed a local merchant, identified by some sources as Alberto “El Prieto” Prieto Valencia, who was traveling in an orange Lamborghini Urus. The attackers reportedly used sophisticated weapons, but the victim’s bodyguards were unable to effectively fight back. Videos circulating on social media showed the shooting, which lasted more than 10 minutes, showing a luxury SUV riddled with bullets and more than 200 shell casings recovered at the scene.

The gunfight took place just a few kilometers from the World Cup venue.
