NManchester City’s Olway international striker Erling Haaland has posted a photo on social media in which he appears to be standing on a scale with the message “It’s okay”, in reference to coach Josep Guardiola’s warning about players gaining weight over the Christmas period.
“I will be there on the 25th[of December]to manage how many kilos they have gained. They are coming ‘fat’. We can eat them for Christmas, but I want to control them. I have to call them up for the game against Nottingham Forest on the 27th,” the Spanish manager said earlier this week.

“Imagine a player who is perfect now arrives three kilos overweight. He will stay in Manchester and not go to Nottingham, that’s for sure,” added the Spanish manager.

Guardiola’s team is scheduled to play Round 18 of the Premier League at Forest, where they are in good form and have moved up from second place with 37 points, two behind Arsenal.
