Georgina opens up about her family
After nearly a decade together, Cristiano and Georgina have shared countless moments together. She was by his side when he won big trophies with the club and when he lost.
Ronaldo already had a son, Cristiano Jr., who was born in 2010. Twins Eva Mara and Mateo were born in 2017 (via surrogate), followed by daughter Alana Martina in the same year. In April 2022, the couple was due to give birth to twins Bella Esmeralda and Angel, but their joy was overshadowed by the death of their baby boy. Although Gio is biologically Alana and Bella’s mother, she raises all of her children as her own and calls them as such.
In a conversation with ELLE, the businesswoman revealed what her daily life at home with her children is like. Her family consists of her mother and sister, so she admitted that having a family with so many children was a “dream come true” and did not rule out becoming a mother again. “Are you thinking of expanding it? I’m so young that God decides what happens next,” she said.
She also said that she spoils her children more than her husband, and that despite “other possibilities” financially, her essence “remains intact” in terms of making her children understand the value of things.
“We instill in them our values. They see everything we strive for, things that don’t come for free, so we remind them of the importance of being warriors and especially being good people. They are polite, responsible, engaged in school and activities, and above all, persistent in their dreams. That is what they see at home,” Rodriguez said.
Meanwhile, the couple also took a big step this year. On August 10, Georgina surprised everyone by publishing a photo of a ring with a large diamond on her ring finger, confirming her engagement to Captain Al Nasr.
“It’s beautiful. After 10 years of waiting, this is all he has offered me,” Rodriguez said with a laugh. “In fact, when he asked for my hand, that was the last thing on my mind. It took me a long time to accept the tremendous stone he gave me. I was so shocked that I left it in my room and didn’t open it until the next day in the sunlight,” she revealed.
CR7 revealed that their wedding will take place after the 2026 FIFA World Cup and said that they want to hold the cup for even more happiness. The wedding will take place in Ronaldo’s home island of Madeira, but Gio confessed that despite the couple’s popularity, it will be “100%, definitely” a small wedding.
