Kylian Mbappu is having a great time at Real Madrid and is even aiming to break the historic record that club icon Cristiano Ronaldo held for more than a decade.
The current Al Nasr captain shined for nine seasons, becoming the club’s all-time top scorer and winning numerous titles and records. However, one of them may be transferred.

M-Bap aims for CR7 record
Kylian and Real Madrid won 2-1 against the Arabs, with Kylian’s goal in the 24th minute and Rodrigo Goes’ equalizer in the 76th minute. The only goal for the opponents was scored by Carlos Vicente Robles in the 68th minute. The win not only ended his losing streak at two, but also brought the French striker closer to an incredible record.
Mbap had just made history with his goal. In the 1-1 draw against Girona, Kylian Mbapp scored a penalty goal in the 67th minute, and “Kiki” was added to the list of greats.
His 53 goals for the club and seven for the French national team at that point made him the only four players to reach 60 goals in a year, along with Robert Lewandowski, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Now, with three more to go, M-Bap aims to keep breaking the record. Kylian, who has scored 56 goals this year, needs at least three more to reach the 59 goals scored by Cristiano in 2013, and four more to surpass him.
But time could be against him. There are only two games left before the end of the year. His first chance will be on Wednesday, December 17th, against Talavera in the Copa del Rey. Real Madrid and Mbapp will then face Sevilla in the 18th round of La Liga on Saturday, December 20th, at home at the Santiago Bernabé Stadium.
Lionel Messi, on the other hand, holds the record, scoring 79 goals for Barcelona in 2012 (91 if you include his goals for Argentina).
Will Killian be able to reach this goal?
