Avd Karadzic: “Anis loved the girl, but something terrible happened in his heart, and everything ended tragically.”
Bosnian media reported that Anis Karadzic, son of former soccer player and coach Avd Karadzic, attempted suicide after the alleged shooting, but his gun malfunctioned.
Anis Karadzic, the father of the arrested referee and a famous former international soccer player, said after learning of his son’s murder: “My family and I are devastated by the pain we feel in our hearts and souls. It hurts more than words can describe. I feel so bad for the innocent, dear girl who lost her life. If I could go back, I would like it to happen to me, not that wonderful girl.”
“Anis loved the girl and had plans for her future, but something terrible happened in his heart and everything ended tragically for both families,” he said.
