Kylian Mbappé will not play for France against Azerbaijan as the Real Madrid striker leaves the squad.
According to the French federation’s official media, Mbappé is suffering from inflammation in his right ankle and will undergo tests upon his return to Madrid.

The French national team has decided to allow Mbappé to return to the Spanish capital as he is experiencing ongoing discomfort in his ankle.
On Thursday, the French striker led his national team to a 4-0 victory over Ukraine, scoring twice and qualifying for the next World Cup.
It was towards the end of the game when Mbappe felt discomfort in his right ankle. After an initial examination of the injury, the French Football Federation and the national team’s medical staff decided that he should return to Madrid.
Kone and Camavinga also leave the club.
The FFF’s official statement also highlighted that Manu Kone and Eduardo Camavinga have also left the French national team and returned to their clubs.
The Roma player received a yellow card against Ukraine and was suspended for the match against Azerbaijan, while the Real Madrid player returned to Spain with a strained left hamstring.
