FC Cincinnati is preparing for the MLS Eastern Conference semifinals, where they will face Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami in a one-off home match. As TQL Stadium will witness one of the most important games in the team’s history, confidence is placed in Evander, the Brazilian who scored 16 goals and had nine assists in the regular season and is considered one of the MVP candidates.
However, the Brazilian recently expressed his desire to share a dressing room with Neymar Santos Junior in MLS. Neymar recently left Saudi football and returned to his home country with Santos, the team he left and grew as a player. Neymar’s team is currently relegated, but Neymar is not too happy about the situation. That is why Neymar has already analyzed that he is looking for a new direction in which he can compete for a spot in the Brazilian national team for the 2026 World Cup.
Neymar caught partying with Vincius Jr.’s rumored girlfriend in resurfaced video
Manager Evander gives Neymar a strong message on joining MLS: “I think he should join Cincinnati.”
Evander spoke openly about his desire to share the field with Neymar Junior, who has played for teams such as Barcelona, PSG, Al Gilal and Santos in an interview with the official MLS channel.
I would love to see Neymar in MLS or FC Cincinnati…that would be great!
He also talked about the fact that Cincinnati “already has two Brazilian players who can compete with Lionel Messi and Argentine players.”
There are two Brazilians here. If there were more Brazilians, he would be very welcome, so I think he will be with the Brazilians against Argentina at Inter Miami.
This last message is strong because it speaks to an opponent that includes a number of Argentinian players who are trying to end Evandel and FC Cincinnati’s dream of winning the MLS Cup in 2025.
Neymar Jr’s dream is to play for Brazil in the 2026 World Cup
Neymar has long been one of Brazil’s best players and a key player on Brazil’s national team, but injuries kept him out of a fourth World Cup after playing for his country in 2014, Russia in 2018 and Qatar in 2022.
The Brazilian has spoken of his desire to take part in the biggest World Cup in history, to be held in Mexico, the United States and Canada, but given the situation at his current club Santos and the possibility of relegation, Ney is starting to think about a new team that would help him get back to his best and catch the eye of manager Carlo Ancelotti.
According to ESPN, Evander is not the only player interested in playing alongside Neymar, with the Brazilian attracting interest from a number of MLS teams and potentially receiving multiple offers to join the American League.
