A few years ago, when CR7 was 38 years old, he scored an incredible 57 goals. Currently, the Al Nasr star has scored a total of 953 goals at the age of 40.
Meanwhile, Messi celebrated his 38th birthday on June 24th. To match Cristiano Ronaldo’s goalscoring tally, the Argentine captain currently has 25 goals, so he needs 32 more to match him and 33 to surpass him. Inter Miami’s number 10 has scored 894 goals in total and is six goals away from reaching 900 career goals.
Lionel may take advantage of his next commitment with the Argentina national team. The friendly against Angola will be played on Friday 14th November at Luanda’s 11th November Stadium, which has a capacity of around 45,000 spectators. This will be Lionel Scaloni’s team’s last appearance until 2026.
