TThe Santiago Bernabéu continues its process of adapting to becoming an NFL venue. It will be a historic game filled with shows and halftime “concerts.” There are good reasons for clubs to work to adapt their stadiums to such events, with particular interest in isolating stands and reducing external noise.
The process, which has been taking shape for several days, is starting to take shape now with less than a week until the Miami Dolphins and Washington Commanders meet at the Bernabeu. The background of the pitch itself was also changed to accommodate the size required by American soccer (from 105×68 meters to 109×48.8 meters). The solution was to convert the first columns of these backgrounds into something storable and gain the required meter.
Bernab is isolated for the NFL.
It is precisely in this fund that soundproofing works are focused. The club uses different types of panels to cover the “skywalk” area and reduce outside noise. Bizarrap and Daddy Yankee plan to test the creation during halftime of Sunday’s NFL game.
Another point to note at the NFL-Bernabeu is the bench. Each team has approximately 100 members, including players, coaches, and trainers. Therefore, the benches will need to be modified and enlarged, a process that has already begun and will also affect the front row seats surrounding the benches. In fact, during the Tour del Bernabéu, this area of the stadium will be prohibited from entering this area on November 11th and 12th due to this ‘modification’.
