TThe NFL announced it will strictly enforce a clear bag policy for the league’s first official game in Spain, scheduled for Sunday, November 16th at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. The measures are in line with the NFL’s global safety standards and are aimed at ensuring a safe environment for the thousands of fans expected in the Spanish capital and facilitating rapid testing at the entrance.
The policy states that all allowed bags must be clear, made of plastic, vinyl, or PVC, and no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches. Spectators are strongly advised not to bring luggage of any kind, however, if essential, options such as 3.8 liter clear plastic bags and smaller bags up to 4.5″ x 6.5″ with or without handles will be allowed. As an exception, sealed medical bags will be applied, inspected in a special lane and tagged. Prioritize accessibility without compromising safety.
