Lionel Messi and Inter Miami delivered goals, assists, records and an incredible show that will go down in history against Nashville SC on Saturday night, November 8th.

Uniform number 10, as befits his uniform number, broke the deadlock in the 10th minute of the first half with an assist from Tadeo Allende. Leo added another goal in the 39th minute after receiving a pass from Matteo Silvetti.
In the second half, 26-year-old Argentine Allende scored the final two goals, with assists from Jordi Alba and Messi, giving Inter Miami a comfortable victory.
With two goals and one assist, the Argentine captain moved closer to reaching 900 career goals. Lionel, who has 894 goals in total, is just six goals away.
Messi also surpassed his historical rival Cristiano Ronaldo to become the player with the most goals without a penalty with 782 goals, while the Portuguese has scored 773 goals, 163 more than the Argentine.
Furthermore, with his assist to Taddeo in the 76th minute, Messi reached his 400th career assist, while Ronaldo has 266th in total. However, CR7 has 59 more goals than Leo’s 953 and is approaching 1,000 goals.
On the other hand, this is the first time Inter Miami has made it past this round. They will now play away against FC Cincinnati, the second-place team in the Eastern Conference. Both teams had 65 points, but Cincinnati won 20 and Inter won 19.
The match will take place on Saturday, November 22nd at TQL Stadium.
