Cristiano Ronaldo has once again made headlines off the pitch after making remarks that went viral around the world, claiming he “looks better than David Beckham” and saying he has “the whole package”.
In a conversation on the show Piers Morgan Uncensored, the Portuguese star spoke about his image, global fame and constant comparisons with the England legend, who follows a similar path in his career. Both were star players at Manchester United and Real Madrid, and established themselves as international icons of fashion and style.

The exchange began after Morgan praised Beckham, but pointed out that he is “not in the same league” as Ronaldo as a footballer. He then asked her if she thought she was physically attractive as well. “Do you think you look better than David Beckham?” the host asked. “It depends,” Ronaldo answered first, then laid out his argument with humor and confidence.
Ronaldo defends his case with humor and confidence
The 40-year-old Al Nasr striker explained that for him, “being handsome is not just the face, it’s the whole package.” He added: “Imagine Cristiano and a normal guy in a red speedo at Copacabana… you think I don’t have a chance with anyone.”
When Piers Morgan insisted on the comparison, Ronaldo didn’t hesitate to laugh and reply: “Walk around Copacabana for 10 minutes. Which one would get more attention?” His answer was straightforward: “100 percent me.”
Beckham is average, I’m perfect
The comment drew laughter from the host, who admitted he was only trying to “bring out” the remark.
Ronaldo also explained why he thinks he is more attractive than Beckham. “He knows it. His face is beautiful, yes, it’s a beautiful face…but other than that he’s normal. I’m not normal. I’m perfect,” he said with a laugh, once again displaying his sense of humor and confidence.
CR7 is considered one of the most recognized on the planet
Beyond the relaxed tone of the interview, Ronaldo also spoke about his global influence, insisting that his fame transcends borders, saying with a smile: “Let’s have a debate for the world. Who is more famous, me or Donald Trump? All over the world, even in small islands, I think they know more about me than he does.”
Despite the obvious rivalry between the two former Real Madrid players in the media, Ronaldo ended with words of respect for Beckham. “He’s good-looking. I like him. He’s a well-spoken guy, and I like him.”
Once again, the Portuguese player combined confidence, humor and charisma to remind us why he remains one of the most influential figures in the world, both inside and outside of football.
