Luis Suarez will miss the crucial third match between Inter Miami and Nashville SC due to his controversial suspension
The Major League Soccer Disciplinary Committee sanctioned the Uruguayan player for “acts of violence” during Game 2 of the first round of the MLS playoffs, which Nashville won 2-1.

The most shocking part of this ‘punishment’ is that the play that got Suarez suspended was reviewed by VAR and the Inter striker did not receive a yellow card for it.
The act that led to Suarez’s sanction occurred in the 71st minute, with the Uruguayan striker reacting to what was considered to be a small kick or a natural soccer play.
Suspension seems to be a very severe punishment for this.
Inter Miami statement
Inter Miami CF accepts and respects the decision of the MLS Disciplinary Committee.
At the same time, the club would like to express its concern about the precedent set by re-referring an incident that had already been adjudicated by the referee and VAR, and to express its confidence that in future the same standards will apply to every situation that occurs on the playing field, every match and every team.
The decisive MLS playoff match between Inter Miami and Nashville SC is scheduled for Saturday, November 8th at 8:00 PM ET.
