TAlthough there is still a long way to go, league play in soccer is in full swing and fans in many countries are counting down the days until the 2026 FIFA World Cup. It feels like just yesterday Lionel Messi was lifting the World Cup trophy alongside his Argentina teammates. Although Messi has brought an end to his unparalleled career, he is still playing at a very high level and could feature again in 2026.
The Inter Miami star has not yet revealed whether he will take part in any upcoming international tournaments. That remains to be seen, but the Argentine was able to get a glimpse of what Messi and other La Albiceleste stars will be like during a summer tournament in the United States.

Argentina’s home uniform for the 2026 FIFA World Cup leaked online
According to Footy Headlines, Argentina’s next home kit for the World Cup has been leaked. The new design appears to incorporate a gradient into the jersey’s classic blue stripes. Perhaps more interestingly, the shorts and socks appear to be navy blue. Argentina has alternately worn blue, black, and sometimes white shorts for many years.
No matter what the national team wears, they will enter the tournament as one of the favorites to win. Messi’s Argentina, coached by Lionel Scaloni, have won the last three international tournaments they have participated in: the 2021 Copa America, the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the 2024 Copa America.
However, not everyone expects them to win the next World Cup. DraftKings Sportsbook currently has better odds for Spain, France, England, and Brazil.
