What are the groups in the 2025-26 Champions League?
The 36 participating teams are divided into four pots based on individual coefficient rankings, with the real UEFA Champions League champions being the top seed of pot 1.
Starting with pot 1, the physical ball was drawn before the automated software used last year – eight rivals were selected for each team.
Each team plays two teams from each of the four pots, one match at home and the other apart.
Teams from the same Federation do not face each other, and more than two antagonists from the same Federation do not face them.
