Footage circulating on social media appears to show a violent brawl involving two England youth players during an international camp. The video primarily focuses on two players fighting while surrounded by several teammates. Several people were filming the incident on their cellphones, and other players in the room could be heard yelling encouragement.
The scuffle, which is believed to have occurred in a hotel room, lasted about a minute. In the footage, one of the players appeared to be the attacker, grabbing the other player and forcing him onto the bed with his hands around his neck. After a few seconds, he started throwing punches, but was kicked away by the opposing player and the fight continued.
One of the players is then filmed holding the other in a headlock and pushing him against a wall. Screams can be heard in the video, but it is not clear who is responsible.
At one point, the attacker lets up before being prompted to continue by one of the players standing around. He is also instructed to “fuck him up.”
Behind the scenes, his teammates are repeatedly told to “shut the door.” Laughter from those watching can be heard throughout the video as the scuffle continues.
None of the other players, still wearing their England training kits, made any attempt to intervene and interrupt the match, allowing it to continue.
The video, published on social media on Wednesday, has already been viewed more than 11 million times.
An FA spokesperson told Express Sport: “We were made aware of an internal matter during the MU16s camp in October 2025. The matter was quickly resolved at the time.”
It’s unclear what sparked the brawl, but the Daily Mail claims it started after one player was teased by another for owning a Nokia phone.
The incident has drawn widespread criticism from fans, particularly as teammates were seen recording the altercation instead of calming the situation.
