Alex Scott was outstanding for Bournemouth last season and although the Cherries do not want to sell him this summer, the young midfielder could hold talks with the club over a move.
Rivals Manchester United and Arsenal are locked in a battle to sign Alex Scott.
The England and Bournemouth midfielder is a target of up to eight clubs this summer. Newcastle United, Tottenham and Everton are also interested in signing Scott.
However, United and Arsenal are currently in pole position to sign the Scot in a £40m deal. Scott’s representatives are in talks with both clubs and it is understood he is expected to make a decision on his departure within the next two weeks.
The Scot is said to be in favor of a move to the Emirates, but is concerned about how much game time he will get for Mikel Arteta’s English champions.

The 22-year-old has emerged as one of the brightest midfield talents in English football. He helped the Cherries secure European football last season.
Scott was also included in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad for games against Serbia and Albania last season, but did not feature. He was then asked to join Tuchel’s team’s World Cup preparation camp in Florida.
United have strengthened their midfield in recent weeks with the signings of Youri Tielemans and Andrej Santos.
Manager Michael Carrick remains keen to add a third goal in this area, but United are not prepared to be drawn into a scramble with Arsenal for the Scot.
