Jude Bellingham has written a touching letter to England fans following the heartbreaking defeat to Argentina in the World Cup semi-finals.
The 23-year-old played a key role in England’s World Cup appearance, scoring six goals as the men’s team reached the semi-finals for the fourth time in their history.
He was praised by England fans, who sang his name after the win and serenaded the Real Madrid star with a rendition of the Beatles’ “Hey Jude.”
After the match, he became the center of criticism after appearing to make contact with Argentina’s Valentin Barco’s head during a celebration.
Now he has taken to Instagram to share a touching letter he received from a Three Lions bus driver that he wanted to share with his fans.
He wrote: “Yesterday and the past few weeks I was really struggling to find the right words, but this one from a Kansas driver pretty much hits the spot.
“Thank you for the incredible support from our home country and those who used their hard-earned money to come to America and support us. Please don’t let this campaign end with the unity and love we’ve seen in our country. When we come together, we can accomplish great things…and we will! We love you!”
Bellingham was one of the few England aces to speak publicly after England lost 2-1. He expressed heartbreak over the defeat, saying, “I wanted to be part of the England team that finally won.”
The FA has confirmed that Thomas Tuchel will remain as head coach for the 2028 European Championship, to be hosted by Great Britain and Ireland. This comes despite Tuchel’s tactical decisions and substitutions after England took the lead following England’s World Cup exit, which drew criticism from pundits, former players and fans.
Defending his decision, the German suggested England did not have the “DNA” to defend their lead. “I think possession plays an important role. Winning the ball and controlling the game with the ball is probably not in our DNA as much as it is in the Spaniard’s DNA or the Argentinian-Brazilian DNA,” he said.

Lions don’t brag loudly, but
Nor do we seek the admiration of all the crowds.
He knows the roar that shakes the night,
It is born when fear and power confront each other.
The game is not just about the enemy,
You don’t know the true pitch yourself.
Before a single pass is gracefully played,
First, the heart must win the competition.
Because strength is more important than driving speed,
Alternatively, plant each cleat firmly.
Living in an iron will,
We will climb the steep slope again.
The car body becomes a tire. My lungs become stiff.
My legs feel heavy from the fight.
Still, a strong heart refuses to retreat,
They drag the weary people up.
Patience is a faithful friend,
He will walk next to you until the end.
While others succumb to the dictates of pain,
It whispers lowly, “Hold your stand.”
A smart mind wins over a strong person
People who rage and charge all day long.
patient path, measured pace,
Overcome reckless haste forever.
The hawk may be watching the pitch above,
The lion wins with unwavering love
In every movement, every run.
A place where many hearts come together as one.
Tactics are not about hiding tricks;
However, their wisdom was sharpened in the field.
How to know when to press the day
And when self-control becomes a means.
A storm might break out. The crowd may cry.
The score may deny the sky.
But none of these command the soul
Whose purpose governs all goals?
The referee cannot steal your choices.
No hostile song can drown out your voice.
The world may shake, the night may burn
Your answer will determine the final turn.
England wore the Three Lions brightly,
Don’t chase the fleeting light of glory.
They instead sought nobler prizes.
To master yourself in front of people.
They trusted the legs they had spent years training.
They trusted the heart that the stillness gained
They believed in an unbreakable heart
The end is nearing every minute
A moment born from countless tasks
Lightning ran between friend and enemy
victory is theirs
Those who control themselves before receiving a blow
thus gained greater fame
than people who just play games
The work of 3 lions won an award
The victory now was the score.
But the biggest victory is clear
Time itself outlasts any skill.
But the one who controls heart and spirit
Leave your fears and doubts far away
So let’s walk the ancient path of the lion
Real encounters with each trial company
Let discipline be your strength
Not to be noisy, but to bring good fortune;
It also doesn’t always get the biggest audience.
she often walks next to him
Who won the toughest battle?
Not on the pitch under the lights
But deep inside my heart, through sleepless nights
And when the final whistle blows
And victory will raise its golden wings
You can still hear the real roar
My soul has become stronger. My soul was convinced.
