What you need to know about how to watch England vs Norway

TV Channel: The quarter-finals will be broadcast live on ITV for viewers in the UK. After the BBC broadcast England’s dramatic last-16 victory over Mexico, it’s now the commercial broadcaster’s turn. Pundits and commentators: ITV’s first-choice line-up will go into this big game. Presenter Mark Pugatch will be joined by pundits Roy Keane, Gary Neville and Ian Wright. As usual for the channel’s England matches, lead commentator Sam Matterface will be accompanying Lee Dixon. BBC deal: For major tournaments, UK television rights will be split between the BBC and ITV under a traditional terrestrial sharing agreement. The BBC showed matches between Ghana, Democratic Republic of the Congo and Mexico, while ITV showed matches between Croatia and Panama. Huge audience: England’s dramatic win over Mexico in the early hours of Monday drew up to 9.1 million viewers for the BBC. Despite kick-off being postponed from 1am to 2am BST, the match attracted an average of 7.8m viewers on BBC One and iPlayer. Live viewers could potentially double that figure, as the Norway match kicks off at a much more convenient time for UK viewers. Kick-off time: The match is scheduled to start at 10pm on Saturday 11th July, with ITV coverage beginning at 8:45pm. The match will be held at Miami Stadium, which seats approximately 65,000 people. Streaming: Matches can be accessed through the ITVX platform. The digital service allows anyone with a valid TV license in the UK to watch live broadcasts via a standard internet browser or mobile device. The ITVX app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play. BBC Coverage: Although we will not be broadcasting a live TV feed at this time, the BBC will continue to provide comprehensive second-hand coverage across our platforms. After the final whistle, the broadcaster will launch an immediate post-match reaction program featuring experts on iPlayer and the BBC Football YouTube channel. Radio Broadcast: For those without access to a screen, BBC Radio 5 Live and talkSPORT will provide complete live commentary from Miami. Warm-up matches between both teams will be held throughout the day. Semi-final selection: The BBC will make the first selection for the semi-final and will choose England if Thomas Tuchel’s side beat Norway. The match will be the second semifinal to be played in Atlanta on Wednesday, July 15th. Read more: Ideal World Cup final route if England beat Norway
