Manchester United are set to star in a new documentary series that will take a behind-the-scenes look at Michael Carrick’s 2026-27 Premier League season.
Manchester United will feature in Amazon’s documentary All or Nothing, which was filmed during the 2026/27 season. Prime Video will go behind-the-scenes with the Red Devils and confirm a summer 2027 release date.
Cameras follow the men’s first team as Michael Carrick begins his first full season as United’s head coach. The former Reds midfielder made an impressive debut as an interim replacement for Ruben Amorim in January.
The 44-year-old led United back to the Champions League this season after three years away from Europe’s elite competition. Under Carrick, they lost just twice and finished third in the Premier League.
As excitement builds at Old Trafford ahead of Carrick’s long-awaited season, United confirmed in a statement that they will be the focus of a Prime Video documentary, with filming set to begin this summer.
United’s chief communications officer Toby Craig commented on what the show will reveal about the Reds as they aim to win their first league title since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.

“Now is the right time to open our doors so our fans around the world can get their first behind-the-scenes look at a club that means so much to so many people.”
“This documentary showcases Manchester United’s unique people, ambition and culture, from the iconic atmosphere of Old Trafford to the work that goes on behind the scenes at Carrington every day. We will share part of the story of this historic club with fans and new audiences around the world as we compete at the highest level both domestically and in the Champions League.”
United become the latest club to feature in Amazon Prime’s ‘All or Nothing’ series, but colleagues at the Manchester Evening News understand that the deal exceeds the fees paid for programs on Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Reds have been considering the merits of this type of documentary for several years. The club has been in discussions with a number of potential streaming partners and has received significant proposals during its 2023 US pre-season tour.

However, the decision to open the first team’s environment and changing rooms to cameras required support from those in charge. United are also conscious of the story they want to tell and the timing of their future decisions.
“Manchester United is more than just a football club, it’s a global phenomenon. ‘All or Nothing: Manchester United’ was a story we needed to tell,” said Tara Eller, Amazon’s head of British films.
“From Old Trafford to the far corners of the world, no other club has as much passion, history and commitment. That’s exactly the kind of story we want to tell, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring it to our customers around the world.”
