Manchester United are thought to be interested in West Ham stars Jarrod Bowen and Matheus Fernandes this summer.
West Ham manager Daniel Kleczynski has revealed the club’s determination to retain top talent amid mounting speculation linking Manchester United with moves for Matheus Fernandes and Jarrod Bowen. United have been named as potential suitors for both players as the summer transfer window approaches.
Fernandes and Bowen have been heavily linked with a move away from the London Stadium this summer following West Ham’s exit from the Championship.
As a result, United have emerged as a potential landing spot for both players should West Ham be forced to sell their star pair.
Despite this, Kreczynski leaves no doubt that West Ham have no intention of letting any of their key players leave this summer.
“We have a very reliable strategy,” Krechinsky said in an interview with the Times. “There is no need to sell players for economic reasons.
“We are doing this so that we can quickly get promoted to the Premier League. That is our only goal.”
“The key players are waiting for us. They want to know they have a real chance to unite the team.
“What matters is money, strategy and consistency. We have talked to all of them. They need to understand that our project is genuine and serious. Promotion is our only goal.”

Fernandes has emerged as a target for United this summer as they look to strengthen their midfield ahead of the new season.
West Ham reportedly value Fernandes at around £80m following their relegation from the Premier League, with some suggesting United could be ahead of Arsenal in signing the midfielder.
Bowen’s future at West Ham remains uncertain following the club’s relegation, with United, Newcastle and Liverpool all mentioned as possible destinations for the 29-year-old, who is still under contract at the London Stadium until 2030.
United have already made a busy start to the summer transfer window by reaching an agreement to sign Atalanta star Ederson.
The Red Devils have agreed to sign Ederson for an initial fee of £35m and additional fees of £3.8m, taking the total transfer fee to £38.8m.
It remains to be seen where United will turn their attention next, with another midfielder thought to be on the shopping list after Casemiro left on a free transfer.
