England’s preparations for the World Cup have come to a close and all eyes are on Thomas Tuchel’s Three Lions as they battle to win the tournament.
Manager Thomas Tuchel has suspended England’s players and has “trusted” them to win the World Cup.
England manager Tuchel gave his 26-man squad time off on Friday, allowing them to do whatever they want with WAGS, friends and family in Florida.
Tuchel’s only ground rule is that he doesn’t fly from his current hotel in West Palm Beach, Fla., before flying to the World Cup training base in Kansas City on Saturday.
There were big pre-tournament nights out, such as the infamous ‘dentist’s chair’ where the whole team went drinking in Asia before Euro 96.
Coach Tuchel has allowed all players to be with their loved ones at his training base in West Palm Beach, and with his blessing they will be given a full day off.

A player is planning a trip to Miami’s South Beach. You can go to a theme park with the kids, travel anywhere in Florida, and let your hair down before the hard work begins.
“They can pretty much do what they want. For example, they can’t get on a plane. They can pretty much do what they want, but we said we won’t fly because we hope to get on a lot of planes during the tournament,” Tuchel said.
“No one is asking for a flight. They are adults and they are determined, so the trust is not just a one-way street. We expect them to respond to the trust, the responsibility we give them.”
“Everything I’ve seen of them is a determined group who have a dream but know what it takes, and I completely believe and trust that they won’t bet on it.
“The players will have a day and a half off to relax and switch off, not just physically but mentally, and then the next chapter will begin.
“We go from chapter to chapter and the next chapter is the group stage. And it’s nice to change places. Our place was great, but it’s good to switch heads.”
England travel to Kansas City on Friday to prepare for their first group game against Croatia next Wednesday. The first training session in Kansas City will take place on Saturday.
