Arsenal star Maduke has been in the spotlight at Arsenal on and off the pitch this season after helping the north London side win the Premier League and reach the Champions League final.
Noni Madueke says Arsenal are ready to throw an even bigger party ahead of the Champions League. As Arsenal won their first Premier League title in 22 years, Gunners winger Madueke celebrated in style by serving as a DJ.
But Maduke said it would be an even bigger party if they won the European Cup for the first time in the club’s history, as they prepare to face Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest on Saturday.
Maduke said it would be the “cherry on top” of a great season as the players aim to write new history and a new chapter in Arsenal’s record books.
When Manchester City hosted Bournemouth last week, Arsenal players held an impromptu party at the training ground before heading to Mayfair nightspot Tape. Maduke hosted a concert there, and Mikel Arteta also made an appearance.
England star Maduke said: “It would be surprising given what we witnessed here last night at the training ground. The Champions League is going to be huge. The Premier League is huge.”

“But the Champions League is huge so it would be great to be able to do it for the first time in the club’s history and it would be great to celebrate it with all the Arsenal fans.”
Arsenal have already booked a parade for next Sunday as they want to show off the Premier League trophy to their fans in the streets of Islington.
But if they can put on two matches and it’s their first win, it will be unforgettable as they have never won the Champions League. They reached the final in 2006, but lost to Barcelona.
However, Madueke disagrees with the idea that winning the title with holders PSG, generally regarded as Europe’s best club team under coach Luis Enrique, has eased the pressure. They beat Arsenal in the semi-finals last year, but the north London side will be hoping for revenge to win the top prize.
But Maduke said the pressure was the same: “No, that’s different. I understand, there’s the pressure of the Champions League, but the pressure is always with us. This is Arsenal Football Club, one of the biggest teams in England.”
“Of course the Champions League is an important game. It’s definitely better to win the Premier League before going to the Champions League final. But I don’t know if I’ll think about it or not. I’ll think about winning it again.”
“I don’t think the Premier League matters that night. I’m just going to concentrate on the Champions League and just give it my all and try to make sure we take it to the final.”
It has been a difficult start for Maduke at Arsenal, with fans unimpressed with his £52m transfer from Chelsea. But Maduke charmed them and laughed as he recalled seeing Arteta dancing while the winger was ‘hosting’ on deck.
“The support has been amazing,” Maduke said. “The last couple of weeks, the last couple home games. All those flares and hitting the bus definitely gave us that little boost, that little edge that we needed. Thank God, we got over the line. It’s great.”
“It was nice to see the fun side of the manager. It’s not like I hadn’t seen it before. It was really fun. Yeah, he’s very intense. But I knew what he was like from the first conversation. I was happy to meet him and he was fun.”
“He’s a really good coach. He just helped me. Diligently, he helped me pay attention to the really small details that have a lot to do with winning. Winning games and fighting for big trophies.”
Maduke has been competing against close friend Bukayo Saka for a place in Arsenal’s squad all season, and that will be repeated at the World Cup as both players are in the squad. But Madueke says competition is healthy and mutually beneficial.
“Yes, it’s great to have the two of us, we have high-level players, but it’s completely different. So, yeah, I definitely try to incorporate some of his game into my game. He’s probably saying the same thing. I mean, we’re very close to the pitch. I think that’s well documented.”
“Certainly things have changed. But yeah, B is a top player. It’s like a battle on all fronts. So is England, so is Arsenal. But yeah, no, it’s good. We know we’re heading in the same direction.”
“It could be the same thing at the World Cup, that’s for sure. I want to be here. I know he wants to be here, so it looks like that’s going to be our mission for a while.”
