Gunners players celebrated late into the night as Arsenal clinched their first Premier League title in 22 years after Manchester City drew with Bournemouth

Several players were seen arriving at the Emirates early in the morning.

Arsenal’s stars partied late into the night during their Premier League victory celebrations, with Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice and several team-mates seen arriving at Emirates Stadium at 5am. The Gunners were crowned champions for the first time in 22 years after Manchester City drew 1-1 with Bournemouth on Tuesday night.

The team initially met at the training ground, with players, Mikel Arteta and staff watching City games together. Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Burnley on Monday meant Josep Guardiola’s side needed all three points on the south coast to take their title race to the final day, but they were unable to do so.

Celebrations began in Colney as thousands of supporters made their way to the Emirates, where they were joined by club legend Ian Wright. Rice shared a sneak peek of the celebration, uploading a photo of himself and his teammates to Instagram with the caption, “I told you guys…it’s over,” followed by trophy and love heart emojis.

Meanwhile, Saka and Miles Lewis-Skelly have harshly criticized skeptics who claim Arsenal will “bottleneck” the title. “They called us bottlers and now we have the bottle,” said Louis Skelly, holding a bottle of champagne.

Saka replied, “I’m holding a bottle right now. That’s right!”

Last month, a City fan went viral for holding up an Arsenal-branded water bottle and pretending to take a sip after Arsenal lost 2-1 at home to Bournemouth, in an apparent hint that the Gunners would ‘bottle’ the title. The clip garnered more than 700,000 views on X in less than an hour, further increasing interest in Arsenal’s title bid.

Some members of the squad were then captured on video arriving at Emirates Stadium in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Julian Timber was there too.

One supporter filmed Julian Timber, Saka, Rice, Eberechi Eze and others walking outside the ground. “Don’t play with them, dude,” said the fan.

“That’s the champion now, we’re living with the champion now.” Mr Eze also shared a striking photo of himself with his finger on his lips outside the Emirates, an apparent “silence” to his doubters.

Guardiola, who has given up on the title challenge, congratulated his former assistant Arteta. “Congratulations to Mikel and Arsenal. They were phenomenal,” he said.

“We were close. On behalf of all of Manchester City, I would like to congratulate Mikel and all the staff, players and fans on winning the Premier League. They deserve it.”

It is a heartbreaking farewell for Guardiola, with the City manager preparing to leave the Etihad after 10 years in charge after Sunday’s final home game against Aston Villa.

Arsenal are set to lift the Premier League trophy this Sunday with a short trip to Selhurst Park for the final clash against Crystal Palace.
