Josep Guardiola is expected to leave Manchester City at the end of this season, with Arsenal ready to step up and build their own dynasty after winning the Premier League title

They wrote their names in the history books. Mikel Arteta has written a new chapter for himself after leading the club to their first title in 22 years.

And now this Arsenal team will forever be remembered as legends, as the heroes who ultimately led the club to glory. They still have a chance to turn their title into a double by winning the Champions League on May 30th. What an amazing achievement that is!

Sometimes it wasn’t very pretty. I was incredibly nervous. But in the end, they completely revamped arguably the greatest team and manager of the Premier League era.

That is Arteta’s greatest achievement. His goal is to compete with Manchester City giant Josep Guardiola and rise to the top.

It was a roller coaster-like season full of ups and downs. But it’s also a year Arsenal fans will never forget. This was touted as Arsenal’s best chance in years. It’s the third time in a row I’ve finished second, but this time I have no excuses.

And that only increased the level of pressure and expectations, which at times felt like a burden to the players. It was the longest period since the war without Arsenal winning a title. 22 years. No wonder the stadium feels tense at times.

This is a huge club, one of the giants of English football, and the length of that period was painful. After Arsene Wenger’s Invincibles won the title in 2004, no one could have imagined that they would have to wait so long to win it again.

And that only makes this Arsenal team feel even more accomplished. Arteta has built a team full of mentality, strength and determination. No one saw Arsenal coming when they launched their first title challenge under Arteta in the 2022/23 season. A year later, it wasn’t unexpected, but they fell just short in a head-to-head match with Manchester City.

Will Arsenal become the champions of English football? Please share your thoughts in the comments section.

Last year, Arsenal never looked like they would win the title. Liverpool were the best team. However, Arsenal again finished in second place. As the song says, “Ore Ore”.

This year was the year they proved they were more than just bottlers. That is Arteta’s greatest achievement. The Arsenal manager has instilled a winning mentality. They became set-piece kings, scoring goals and their grappling in the corners was one of their most reliable assets.

They probably won’t go down as the most popular champions, but Arsenal fans won’t care. Why do we do that? It’s all about getting things done.

Arteta has become more of a pragmatist. What kind of manager would he have been if he hadn’t tried to do something different after three straight second-place finishes?

That makes Arteta’s achievement even greater. Arteta faced off against his mentor Guardiola and finally came out on top.

With all of City’s wealth, experience and power, Arsenal were once again crowned champions. Let’s be clear: Arsenal have spent a lot of money, and while they are by no means brave underdogs, they have beaten arguably the best team of the Premier League era. We may be witnessing a changing of the guard.

City have won 20 trophies in 10 years under Guardiola, but they cannot stay at the top forever. City’s rival was Liverpool. Now Arsenal are preparing to become a dominant force in English football.

Arsenal have lifted a huge weight off their shoulders. Now they can relax and enjoy their glory and that’s why this may be the beginning of a new era of success. We may be witnessing the passing of the baton. This is the end for Guardiola and Arteta’s Arsenal must be ready and waiting for him to step up.

Arsenal have built a strong team. 2 players in each position. They were the best team for many years. Pundits were lining up to say this was the best team, but that can only be proven by winning.

And now Arsenal have done it in the most amazing and glorious way. These heroes will go down as club legends, but now they have the chance to go down in history as the greatest players of all time.

If they can beat Paris Saint-Germain and finish another job in Budapest, they will become untouchables.
