The Arsenal squad enjoyed a Premier League victory together at the Sober Realty Training Center on Tuesday night. Players, staff and coaches gathered to watch Manchester City take on Bournemouth, expecting their rivals to fail. The Cherries secured a draw with Josep Guardiola’s side at the Vitality Stadium, confirming Mikel Arteta’s side to be England’s new champions.
As the final whistle rang, the team assembled at Arsenal’s training base was thrown into complete chaos. Arsenal staff, players and coaches sang “Champions, champions, ole ole ole” as they celebrated the title win. It was the first time the Gunners won the Premier League since the 2003-04 season, when they finished the domestic season undefeated.
The victory was recorded on video by Arsenal’s social media team, with team members jumping up and down in the huge crowd as City’s stalemate at Bournemouth was sealed.
William Saliba sat in a chair with his hands in the air, while Gabriel, looking shocked, clasped his hands to his head and briefly stepped away from the crowd.
An elated Declan Rice, who left West Ham in a deal worth £105m for such an occasion, was seen holding his mobile phone aloft at the center of a large gathering.
The midfielder then posted on Instagram: “All said and done. It’s over.” Julian Timber and Mikel Merino are currently out with injuries, but he looked perfectly fit as he jumped up and down with joy alongside his teammates.
Eberechi Eze seized the moment and climbed onto his chair, while footage later shared by Timber showed sporting director Andrea Berta crowdsurfing around the room.
“We’ve made history together again. I couldn’t be happier and prouder for everyone involved in this football club. Let’s enjoy this moment,” Arteta said in a video released by Arsenal.

Arteta addressed supporters at the Emirates Stadium after the win over Burnley on Monday night. “I’m really happy to see the transformation and contribution that each of you has made to turn this place into the most beautiful place to enjoy and play our game of football,” the Spaniard said.
“This is the soul of this football club and each and every one of you contributes to it. So every time you step into this stadium, make sure you face the responsibility of keeping the game to this standard, because it makes a big difference to us and all the players.”
“I want to thank you all. I hope to see you soon at Selhurst Park and of course in Budapest. But I would also like to thank the heroes, the great players and the staff.”
Captain Martin Odegaard also addressed the supporters. The Arsenal captain said: “I’m really proud. I think it’s been a great season so far. We’ve got one big game left here and then of course the Champions League. And we want to bring the trophy home.”
“It was great. We’re almost there. We’re going to give it our all. We have to keep moving forward. I can promise you all that we’re going to give it our all every day.”

“We’re going to keep going until the end. With your support, we’re going to be ready. The fans have been amazing, especially the last few home games, getting to the stadium and seeing and feeling everything outside.”
“And the atmosphere inside is great. Now let’s make the final preparations – and thank you very much.”
Immediately afterwards, the Arsenal manager was asked by reporters if he was planning to watch Manchester City v Bournemouth, and he said: “I don’t know how long I’m going to watch it.
“You’re in front of the TV, but you don’t know how much you’ll be able to see. That’s the reality.”
Arsenal will win the Premier League trophy after their game against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon.
