24 Arsenal players to win Premier League winners’ medals | Soccer | Sports

Arteta’s side have been top of the table for the majority of this season and will lift the iconic trophy after their game against Crystal Palace on Sunday. Medals will be distributed among management, players and club officials at Arsenal’s discretion. As set out in regulation C.13 of the Premier League Handbook, Arsenal will receive 40 commemorative medals.

Any player who has made at least five Premier League appearances throughout the Gunners’ current campaign will be automatically entitled to one.

Further medals can be requested but must be approved by the Premier League Board and will only be awarded if 39 or more players meet the Premier League’s five qualification criteria.

The Gunners currently have 24 members who have played at least five league games this season, including youngster Max Domann, who has played just five games.

David Raya, Martin Zvimendi, Declan Rice, Victor Gyokeres, Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze, Gabriel, Leandro Trossard, William Saliba, Julian Timber, He joins Gabriel Martinelli, Noni Madueke, Riccardo Calafioli, Martin Odegaard, Piero Hincapie, Mikel Merino, Cristian Mosquera and Miles Lewis-Skelly. Gabriel Jesus, Ben White, Kai Havertz, Christian Norgaard, Ethan Nwaneri.

Arsenal star Declan Rice shared a photo of himself alongside his team-mates on Instagram, captioning it: “I told you guys, it’s over.”

Former manager Arsene Wenger, who led the team to their last title in 2004, appeared in a congratulatory post on the Gunners’ X account.

he said: “You did it. Champions keep going when others stop. This is your time. Now go on and enjoy every moment.”

Gunners legend David Seaman, who played more than 400 games for Arsenal between 1990 and 2003, wrote on X: “Premier League champions!!! What a moment!!! What a season!!!!!!!! Best!!!!!!!!!!!! Longest three minutes of my life (22 years)…”

Meanwhile, Manchester City manager Josep Guardiola, who accompanied Arteta as his assistant during Manchester City’s two Premier League titles, praised the Arsenal manager.

He said: “We were close. On behalf of all of Manchester City, I would like to congratulate Mikel and all the staff, players and fans on winning the Premier League. They have put in so much effort and effort and it is well deserved.”
