Manchester United have unveiled their new home kit for the 2026/27 season, which will be worn three times this month
Manchester United have unveiled their new home kit for the 2026/27 season, which will be worn for the first time this weekend against Nottingham Forest.
The public got their first glimpse of the new kit at Old Trafford on Wednesday when a giant poster was put up outside the stadium overlooking the forecourt. Officially released and on sale at Fanatics this morning at 9am.
Inspired by the Red Devils uniforms of the 1970s, it features adidas’ classic 3-Stripes on the sleeves.
Adidas kits will be worn when United return to the Champions League next season, with the sportswear giant’s contract returning to normal levels, with a £10m deduction included in the contract for non-Champions League seasons.

Manchester United has unveiled a new home kit for the 2026/27 season, inspired by the club’s heritage and featuring a classic polo collar with iconic Adidas details.
Man United 2026/27 Home Kit is available to buy at Fanatics. Fans can purchase either a ‘replica’ or ‘authentic’ version, which are also available at retailers such as Kitbag, Sports Direct and the official Man United store, with prices starting from £85 for an adult shirt and £55 for a children’s shirt.
The new kit will make its first competitive appearance on Saturday when United Women will wear it in the final WSL game of the season against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Michael Carrick’s side will debut the shoes at Old Trafford on Sunday, with Brazilian star Casemiro wearing them in the final home game of his United career.
The first team will then wear them again on the final day of the season at Brighton.
In doing so, United will, for the first time, break with the tradition of debuting next season’s kit at the end of an existing campaign.
It is becoming increasingly common for clubs to unveil new kits in their final home matches, with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea having done so for several years, but this is the first time United have followed suit.
Man United fans have been sharing their first impressions of the new home kit on social media. One person wrote to X: “Beautiful. The Champions League badge would look amazing.”
Another said: “I love this. It looks clean and smooth.”
Not everyone is convinced, as this commenter notes, “It took Adidas designers about 10 minutes to come up with this, right?”
Despite this, another Reds fan said: “The kit is clean. Manchester United always bat differently in red.”
