Sir David earned hundreds of millions of dollars on and off the pitch during his 20-year playing career, after partnering with the likes of Adidas and H&M. These same commercial transactions continued for several years after his retirement.
Football also continues to be a major part of Sir David’s expanding business empire. He co-owns two clubs, Inter Miami and Salford City.

A documentary produced by Sir David’s Production Studio about his life has been a huge success around the world on Netflix. They also produced a documentary series about Victoria, one of several in which she starred over the years.
The former singer made her fortune as a member of the Spice Girls before becoming a fashion designer. She has her own fashion brand, which has recently started turning a profit after years of mounting debt and losses.
Victoria also has a beauty brand, which initially focused on eye makeup before releasing a line of lip products. She has a presence in department stores in France and England.
The Beckhams aren’t the only soccer family on this year’s list of richest people. Harry Kane has slipped into the top ten alongside Sir Andy Murray with a net worth of £110m.
Behind Hearns in fourth place is Gymshark co-founder Ben Francis with £800m, followed by fellow sportswear founders Tom and Phil Behon in sixth place with £350m. Sir Lewis Hamilton is another high-profile F1 driver with a fortune of £435 million.
Rory McIlroy was boosted by back-to-back Masters wins and finished seventh with £325 million in prize money. Anthony Joshua came in eighth place, ahead of boxing rival Tyson Fury, with his £240 million ahead of Fury’s £162 million.
