Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain will clash in the Champions League final in just under three weeks, but it looks like the French giants are already preparing for the match

Paris Saint-Germain’s preparations for the Champions League final are in full swing, with the French side already practicing set pieces. Arsenal will face the Ligue 1 giants in the final in Budapest on May 30th.
But before that game, Luis Enrique’s side still have a lot to consider. They have not yet been officially crowned as French champions. They are six points behind Lens with two games left in the season. They will play their nearest rivals on Wednesday night, before taking on neighbors Paris FC on the final day. However, their priority seems to be the showdown with the Gunners.
Training footage shows the French team preparing for Arsenal’s threat from set-pieces. Goalkeepers Mavey Safonov and Lucas Chevalier were seen performing a corner kick and free kick routine in footage shared by French publication RMC Sport.
Since Mikel Arteta arrived at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal have become one of the Premier League’s most effective teams from set pieces. However, he has come under criticism in recent times, particularly after West Ham’s late goal in the win at the London Stadium was canceled out for a clear foul on David Raya.

Luis Enrique chose not to attend this week’s UNFP awards ceremony and has already spoken about his preparations for the Champions League final.
The Spanish coach said: “I never go to these types of events. I prefer to stay at home and I have to study about Arsenal. But I’m very happy to see the PSG players being recognized and it’s well deserved.”
“Those who win trophies do so because they deserve it. Congratulations to Pierre Sarge, who deserves the Best Manager award. What he has achieved with Reims this season is incredible.”
Regarding the end of his team’s season, Enrique added: “We have to know how to manage the last two games. The problem is that the game against Reims will be played three days after the game against Brest. It is very short. The games are very short.”
“We have players who are injured and players who have played two games in a row. We have to do something about it. Three days is the shortest time between two games. As we have done this season, we will aim to respond individually.”
“Tomorrow we will show what kind of team we are and our ambitions. Every time we put on the PSG shirt there is a responsibility. Tomorrow will be a celebration in one of the best stadiums in France in terms of atmosphere. We are motivated going into this game and it is the best possible preparation to reach the Champions League final.”
“We play the weekend before the final. We prepare for the training load. But I’m not worried. If the goal is the Champions League final, I can rest for a month or even one day and be ready. There’s no problem.”
