Ben White was unable to continue in the first half of Arsenal’s game against West Ham after collapsing with Crisencio Somerville on his knee.
Ben White’s injury forced Arsenal to make an unwanted tactical change in their must-win game against West Ham.
The Gunners right-back suffered a knee injury after hitting his leg during a challenge. White showed obvious discomfort after suffering this problem and was unable to continue playing, and was replaced by Martin Zvimendi, with Declan Rice initially shifted to right-back.
Manager Mikel Arteta made further changes at half-time to balance his team, bringing on Cristian Mosquera for Riccardo Calafioli, allowing the Spaniard to play at right-back.
Miles Lewis-Skelly replaced Calafioli at left-back, allowing Rice to return to his position in Arsenal’s engine room.

With just two Premier League games left, White could be left limping and devastated if the problem is serious enough to miss crucial weeks as Arsenal aim to win their first domestic title in 22 years.
The defender, who was recently recalled to the national team, could miss out on the World Cup, which starts in just a month.
Arsenal went into the game without first-choice right-back Julian Timber. The Dutchman has missed the last 11 games with an ankle injury and his absence is being felt keenly.
Manchester City’s 3-0 win over Brentford on Saturday night put pressure back on Arsenal, who were five points clear of their title rivals with one more game to play.
