Arsenal took another big step towards winning the Premier League title with a 1-0 win over West Ham in controversial circumstances at the London Stadium.
Gary Neville is confident Arsenal will be crowned Premier League champions on Tuesday, May 19th. The Gunners defeated West Ham 1-0 at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon, taking Mikel Arteta’s side a huge step towards winning their first top-flight title in 22 years.
Leandro Trossard’s shot in the 83rd minute proved to be the deciding factor in a match that was fraught with controversy between referees and VAR. As a result, Arsenal now have a five-point lead with two games remaining, and second-placed Manchester City still have a game in hand.
However, former Manchester United defender Neville is adamant that Arsenal will lift the Premier League trophy this season and expects a deal to be signed next Tuesday.

Neville expects City to beat Crystal Palace on Wednesday and Arsenal to dispatch Burnley on Monday, but he does not believe Josep Guardiola’s side will host Bournemouth next Tuesday night.
“I think City beat Palace, I think Arsenal beat Burnley and I think City beat Bournemouth on Tuesday night, May 19th,” Neville told Sky Sports.
“It could happen in all sorts of different ways and to be fair Manchester City have the ability to go all the way, but I think this is a real hammer blow for City.
“They went into the game against Palace on Wednesday and also got the cup final against Chelsea next Saturday, so they can win a domestic double. That’s a big achievement by the way. If they keep going they deserve some congratulations. Then they have to go to Bournemouth on Tuesday.”
Sky Sports, HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+ and Ultimate TV packages

Sky has upgraded its Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundles to include HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+, discovery+ and Hayu, plus 135 channels and complete coverage of the Premier League and EFL from Sky.
Sky has over 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more, with at least 215 of them live from the top flight, along with F1, darts and golf.
“Given the current situation at Bournemouth and the fact that this is Iraola’s last game and they are a good team, I think that might be a step too far.
“I called it today the decisive game for Arsenal. I think the game in the week on Tuesday is the decisive game for City. If you’re expecting it now, I think that’s the time. I think Arsenal will win that Tuesday night without kicking a ball.”
