Federico Valverde reportedly had to go to hospital after getting into another altercation with teammate Aurelien Choameny at Real Madrid’s training ground.
Federico Valverde was rushed to hospital after another violent collision with teammate Aurélien Choameny, according to reports in Spain. It was revealed earlier this week that the two players had clashed during training just days before this weekend’s crucial game against Barcelona, which would seal the La Liga title with three games remaining if the Catalan team wins.
New claims suggest a second altercation broke out between the two on Thursday. The incident is described as “very serious”.
According to Marca, Valverde required hospital treatment. Officials said the confrontation was “much worse” than previous clashes.

The conflict appears to have rapidly escalated. It appears that multiple staff members tried to defuse the situation, but were unsuccessful.
After the incident, the entire Real Madrid squad had to remain at the training ground for an “emergency meeting” in the changing room. The atmosphere within the club is reportedly “extremely tense” as concerns grow that the matter remains unresolved.
Tensions have been rising behind closed doors since Real Madrid were eliminated from the Champions League by Bayern Munich last month. Trouble first flared up when Antonio Rudiger reportedly got into a heated argument with a first-team player at the club’s training facility.

Video footage that went viral on social media showed Rudiger slapping Alvaro Carreras during the altercation, which took place in full view of his teammates. Rudiger later apologized for his actions.
Around the same time, it was revealed that Real Madrid coaches and other club officials had privately questioned Carreras’ commitment.
He later issued a statement regarding the speculation, saying: “Certain innuendos and comments have been made about me that do not reflect reality. My commitment to this club and the coaches I have worked with has been absolute from day one and will continue to be so.”

Rudiger recently gathered his teammates and their families for lunch to clear the air. Shortly after, a new controversy erupted between Kylian Mbappé and Real Madrid’s coaching staff ahead of the match against Real Betis.
It remains to be seen whether further flashpoints will erupt in the coming days. The atmosphere in the club seems to be reaching a boiling point.
