Bukayo Saka’s goal helped Arsenal reach the Champions League final for the first time in 20 years, and the Gunners have already decided who they want to face between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
Bukayo Saka has revealed that Arsenal know who they want to play in the Champions League final. The Gunners booked their ticket to Budapest with a 1-0 home win over Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.
Arsenal face either Bayern Munich or Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg in Germany on Wednesday. PSG lead 5-4 on aggregate and are aiming for their second successive title.
Saka, who scored a vital goal for Mikel Arteta’s side, was asked after the game in the Hungarian capital on Saturday, May 30, who he would like to play against: “Come on… you can’t ask me that. You’ll have to give a trained answer in the media,” England international Saka told CBS Sports.
Asked for a response, Saka replied, “I’m sure deep down I know who I want to face in the final.”

PSG defeated Arsenal en route to lifting the Champions League trophy last season, so the Gunners could get revenge. However, Saka may feel they have the upper hand after beating Bayern 3-1 in this year’s league match.
But for now, Arsenal will focus on domestic matters despite reaching the Champions League final for only the second time in the club’s history and first since 2006. The Gunners will face West Ham, Burnley and Crystal Palace before the final as they hope to finish second for the third year in a row and seal the Premier League title.
“Where this club has come from over the last few years, it’s hurt as a player,” Declan Rice explained to Prime Video Sport. “The coach was in complete control.

“We’ve continued to grow and we’ve continued to push each other, both in this competition and in the Premier League. We’ve been going at full throttle. We know we’re in a good position with less than a month left. Sunday is a big day.”
Arteta added: “It’s a great night to have moments like this with the players and everyone at the club. It’s an incredible feeling, which is natural given everything we’re doing and going through. I see so many happy faces and I’m proud of what we’re doing.”
