Manchester United could make a major signing in the summer transfer window, with up to nine players set to leave Old Trafford to fund a midfield refresh.
Manchester United will be able to allow up to nine players to leave the club during the summer transfer window. Central midfield is where you want to make multiple signings to provide competition for your current options.
Casemiro is also scheduled to leave the club at the end of this season when his contract expires, so a replacement will likely be needed. Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malasia are also set to leave the club when their contracts expire in the coming months.
Napoli are also obligated to sign Rasmus Hjølund on a permanent deal for £38 million if they qualify for the Champions League. The reigning Serie A champions need five more points from their remaining four games to secure a place in next season’s league.

However, Barcelona are under no obligation to sign Marcus Rashford to a permanent contract. The only option is £20 million. However, there is a possibility that he will spend another season on loan at the Catalan club next season.
The paper claims that Trabzonspor are also keen to keep Andre Onana on a permanent basis beyond his current loan period. Altay Bindir could also return to Türkiye as the secondary goalkeeper is free to leave.
Joshua Zirkzee is another player United would be willing to part with, and is most likely to return to Italy. He would also be open to a reasonable offer for Manuel Ugarte as the club looks to revamp their midfield.
Elliott Anderson has emerged as United’s top target, but there are several other suitors, with Nottingham Forest reportedly seeking £120m. Adam Wharton, Aurelien Choameny, Carlos Baleva and Sandro Tonali are being considered.
The club are also considering signing a left-winger, with Morgan Rogers and Yann Diomande reportedly on their radar. Backup goalkeepers and strikers could also be considered to replace Bijndil and Zirksee.
Therefore, if all nine players leave, there is a possibility of signing a new goalkeeper, midfielder or striker, but it does not appear that there will be any additions to the defense. “That’s not a concern for me at this point,” Michael Carrick said.
Sky Sports, HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+ and Ultimate TV packages

Sky has upgraded its Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundles to include HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+, discovery+ and Hayu, plus 135 channels and complete coverage of the Premier League and EFL from Sky.
Sky has over 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more, with at least 215 of them live from the top flight, along with F1, darts and golf.
“At the moment, timing-wise, it’s difficult to talk about the summer and what lies ahead, but it’s difficult to elaborate on that… But no, I’m not worried.
“I think we have a mix of young, rather than really talented, players with real quality experience and two promising young players who have already shown themselves (Aiden Haven and Lenny Yolo).
Carrick once again emphasized the uncertainty about the future, concluding: “I have no concerns. I don’t really know what the future holds, so I can’t really get involved.”
