Departed Manchester United star Casemiro joins Inter Miami, becomes team-mate with Argentina legend Lionel Messi and hopes to play for David Beckham’s MLS team
Casemiro is set to reject a number of offers from Saudi Arabia to join David Beckham’s Inter Miami this summer.
The Manchester United superstar will leave Old Trafford at the end of the season after failing to agree a new contract with the club.
Casemiro has yet to announce his next move. Saudi billionaires Al Hilal and Al Nasr have offered Casemiro a multi-million pound offer to join the professional league.
However, Casemiro has little interest in moving his family to an Arab nation, preferring to go to MLS instead. Inter Miami co-owner Beckham used his influence to lure Lionel Messi to his club in 2023.
And he now wants to do the same for Casemiro as he looks to continue building Inter Miami’s brand on and off the pitch.

Inter Miami’s leadership has discussed a lucrative contract with Casemiro that will keep him at the Florida club until 2028 with an option for a further 12 months.
Despite being 34 years old and in the twilight of his career, Casemiro remains one of the most high-profile footballers in the world.
And the prospect of teaming up with Messi at the New Stadium is proving impossible for him to turn down. Messi signed a contract extension in October that will keep him at the club until 2028.
Living in Miami is also a big draw for United ace Casemiro, who won 84 international caps and 21 major trophies during his glittering career. Casemiro announced his departure from United earlier this season.
Despite having a decisive influence on the team, United’s co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe was keen to cut the club’s payroll. And with Casemiro earning £400,000 a week, Ratcliffe decided to let him go and use the money to invest in a suitable replacement.
Casemiro has been a revelation for United in recent weeks, helping them move up to third in the table and close to qualifying for the Champions League.
United have created a list of midfield targets to fill the huge hole left by Casemiro. These include Elliott Anderson, Aurélien Choameni, Adam Wharton, and Carlos Baleva.
