Changes to the penultimate weekend of the Premier League season have been announced, with fixtures between Arsenal and Manchester City also set to be rescheduled.
The Premier League has finally announced the schedule for the penultimate gameweek of the season.
Chelsea and Manchester City are scheduled to face each other in the FA Cup Final on Saturday, May 16th, but neither side will play that weekend, instead rescheduled matches will be played on different days.
In fact, Chelsea are set to face relegation-threatened Tottenham, but the match will take place on Tuesday, May 19th at 8:15pm, five days before the final day of the season. This match could have huge implications for both sides, with the Blues fighting for Europe while Spurs are fighting to avoid relegation.
Meanwhile, City are in the race for the Premier League title, with games scheduled either side of the game against Chelsea at Wembley Stadium. They will host Crystal Palace on Wednesday 13th May before traveling to Bournemouth on Tuesday 19th May (before returning for their participation in the FA Cup final).
Elsewhere, City’s title rivals Arsenal are scheduled to play Burnley at home on Monday 18 May.
