Manchester United host Brentford in the Premier League on Monday night, but a number of players from both teams will miss the game at Old Trafford through injury or suspension.
Manchester United could reportedly make two more injured players ahead of their Premier League showdown with Brentford. The Red Devils welcome the Bees to Old Trafford on Monday night as they look to qualify for the Champions League.
Michael Carrick’s side currently sit third in the table, level on points with Liverpool and Aston Villa in fourth and fifth respectively, but have one game in hand against both rivals.
United beat Chelsea 1-0 last weekend and will be hoping to continue that momentum when Brentford visit. Ahead of the game, they will likely have at least one central defensive option back, with Harry Maguire returning from suspension.

Lenny Yolo suffered a bruise while training for the match and was ruled out of Chelsea’s win. Carrick admitted it was still doubtful whether the young defender would feature in the Brentford game.
“We’re still working on (Lenny’s) treatment,” he said, adding: “So it’s possible, it’s possible, but we’re not 100% sure at this stage.”
Fullback Patrick Dorg is still unavailable for this game, but he is slowly getting closer to returning to training. “Patrick is working towards his return,” Carrick said.
“He’s certainly made good progress and is getting closer to training with us. That’s positive and good news.”

Defender Matthijs de Ligt returned to the pitch after continuing treatment from a back injury, but it has been confirmed that he will not play in the match.
United will also be without defender Lisandro Martinez, who is suspended following his red card against Leeds United earlier this month. On a brighter note, Maguire has returned from his own suspension and will be eligible for selection.

The Bees enter the game with an injury. Keith Andrews has confirmed that Jordan Henderson, Rico Henry and Vitaly Janert will all miss out despite each returning to outdoor training as part of their recovery.
“They’re doing well. I just passed all three of them and they had a separate session with the group,” he said.
“They’re back on the grass and making good progress. They each have slightly different schedules as to when they’ll be back, but they won’t be available on Monday.”
Midfielders Josh DaSilva and Kay Flo are also absent. Fabio Carvalho and Antoni Mirambo will also be sidelined due to long-term injuries.
