Manchester City defeated Southampton 2-1 at Wembley Stadium to advance to the FA Cup final for the fourth consecutive year. Finn Azaz gave Saints the lead with a stunning curling shot, but his goal was canceled out by Jeremy Doku moments later. As time wore on, Nico Gonzalez settled the contest with an incredible effort. The victory means City will face either Chelsea or Leeds United in next month’s final.

He has little to worry about. The role of sweeper requires quick thinking.
Although he was a reliable full-back, there were concerns about an injury near the end of the first half. I felt fit enough to continue and performed well after the interval.
Composed upon return. Armbands were worn appropriately at Wembley.
He made a crucial interception in an otherwise uneventful first half. He brilliantly blocked the scoring opportunity immediately after the restart.
Same with Nunes in the first 45 minutes. He posed a greater attacking threat in the second half before being substituted.
A reliable display that supports the midfield. After looking comfortable alongside Kovacic, he produced a superb finish to secure victory.
They found space effectively and connected plays. His surge almost led to a goal, and he was sent off only to manage playing time.
The game was slow in the first half, but picked up after the break. Far from his best performance.
Although he was flagged, he hit the woodwork early. We should have found the target with 20 minutes left.
Appeared below par. I lost to Casper Jander and summed up the afternoon.
He hesitated too much in front of the goal. He had many chances but couldn’t convert. Replaced by Haaland.
It ignited City into action and made life difficult for the Saints defence. It could have ended with death.
