There are only a few days left in the Premier League, and both teams still have plenty of games left. Arsenal aim to return to the top with a win over Newcastle, while the battle for Champions League football intensifies below them. At the other end of the table, Tottenham will be desperate to pick up as many points as possible from relegated Wolves to boost their own hopes of staying in the table. However, with many teams dealing with injury concerns, FPL managers have some important decisions to make.

With that in mind, Express Sport brings you the latest updates on the most popular players…

The right-back has missed Arsenal’s last six games but could return to action against Newcastle this weekend. However, he is unlikely to play in next week’s Champions League semi-final match against Atletico Madrid.

The forward looks likely to feature when Manchester United face Brentford on Monday night. He limped off towards the end of last weekend’s win over Chelsea, but there is nothing to suggest it was anything more than a minor bruise.

It was not mentioned by manager Michael Carrick at his manager’s press conference on Thursday, which can only be a good thing for United.

Saka has been sidelined since the Carabao Cup final with an Achilles tendon injury, but has made progress in his recovery in recent weeks. It remains to be seen whether he will be selected in Arsenal’s squad for the match against Newcastle.

As with Timber, a clearer update could be provided by Arteta on Friday afternoon.

The forward was sent off after scoring the opening goal against Everton in last weekend’s Merseyside derby, but the game was lost in the closing stages.

Although the reason for Beto’s withdrawal was a collision of the heads, it is unclear whether Beto will be subject to normal concussion protocols. If that happens, he won’t be eligible to play against West Ham, but if not, there’s a good chance he’ll play.

One player who will definitely be unavailable this weekend is Chelsea’s talented teenager who is out for the season with a hamstring injury.

Only time will tell whether he will recover for the World Cup, where he is expected to represent Brazil. He has been used regularly under manager Carlo Ancelotti and it would be a big blow for the Selecao if he were forced to miss out.
