Mohamed Salah is set to leave Liverpool this summer after his glorious days at Anfield, but one of his potential suitors has spoken out about a move for the Egyptian forward.
Juventus have disputed claims that they have made a move for Liverpool star Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian forward will end his incredible days on Merseyside this summer.
Salah will be allowed to leave for free despite having one year left on his contract at Anfield. As of now, it has not been announced where the 33-year-old will play next season, but Salah has a number of suitors.
There were reports that the Saudi club were involved in a fresh attempt to lure the player to the Middle East, with reports that the Serie A giants had begun exploratory talks over a potential deal.
However, sporting director Marco Ottolini has now spoken out and denied claims that there was contact with his agent. “What is being said about Mohamed Salah’s negotiations is not true. There is absolutely nothing about it at the moment,” he told 365 Scores.

Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas Issa issued an update on his client’s future last month, insisting that no final decision had been made. “We don’t know where Mohamed will play next season, which also means no one knows,” he said on social media.
Salah currently has a maximum of five games left as a Liverpool player, with just three remaining at Anfield. But he sealed his final result with a goal at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in last week’s Merseyside derby.
Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk said of his goal: “There will be a lot of words coming out of my mouth about him over the next few weeks, but listen, he’s very important to us on and off the pitch.
“Sometimes when a player is gone, the appreciation goes down a little bit, but we’re very grateful to him. He’s a great teammate. Obviously we’ve been through everything together, the good times and the bad times.”
“He’s still going to be important in the remaining five games that we have to play and it’s definitely going to be emotional for him and his family, but also for us because he meant a lot to me and to the team and of course to the fans. But first of all, we still have a job to do and he knows that. That’s the main focus.”
Salah will be hoping to return to action this weekend as Liverpool push towards Champions League qualification. Arne Slott’s side currently sit fifth in the table, just three points behind Aston Villa ahead of their clash with Crystal Palace.
