Manchester City beat Arsenal 2-1 on Sunday and could move to the top of the Premier League against Burnley on Wednesday night.
Manager Nico O’Reilly has warned Arsenal that Manchester City are more hungry than ever to regain the Premier League title.
City dealt a huge blow to their title race with a thrilling 2-1 win over Arsenal at the Etihad on Sunday.
Arsenal remain at the top of the table with a three-point difference. However, City have a game in hand and could catch up if they win by at least two goals against Burnley on Wednesday night.
O’Reilly then challenged Josep Guardiola’s side to produce the perfect end to the season by winning all six of their remaining games and leading Arsenal to the Championship.
The England star said: “We just have to focus on ourselves. We need to work on every game to win. We’re not at the top of the league yet so I think we need to keep going and we’ll see. We all know how tough it is right now. I think[Arsenal’s result]means a lot.”

“We’re hungry for it. We want it. We just have to keep moving forward and stay focused. We don’t think too much about what we have to do. We have to go out there and give 100 percent effort every game.”
O’Reilly wants City to bring the same mentality they showed against Arsenal to the game against Burnley.
He added: “It’s a big game. The rest of the games in the season are all big games and we need to go for the win. We’ll put in a good performance, score some goals and we’ll see what happens. We need to go into Wednesday the same way we did Sunday. It’s the same mindset.”

City will also play the 2023 Champions League final against Inter Milan again in Hong Kong this summer.
The two teams will face off in the Asahi Super Dry Trophy to be held at Kai Tak Stadium on Saturday 1st August during the Hong Kong Football Festival. It will be City’s first visit to the former British colony since 2019.
City and Serie A giants Inter have only faced each other head-to-head twice in a competitive match, despite facing each other in pre-season matches in Baltimore in 2010 and Dublin the following year.
Most famously, Guardiola’s side won 1-0 in the 2023 Champions League final at Istanbul’s Ataturk Olympic Stadium, with Rodri’s goal.
The only meeting between the sides was in the same competition last season, when they drew 0-0 at the Etihad Stadium during the group stage.
